Minnesota Trip/Summer Plans

So for the end of semester we celebrated and went on a trip to Minnesota with our friends Nicole and Dallin Hardy and Stephanie and Scott Stevens. We went to a Twins game, visited the Mall of America, and went to the Temple for Scotts endowments.

It was a wonderful trip that was a nice break before Zack and I went back to work full time for the summer. Its going to be a busy summer for us, I have girls camp in two weeks (which by the way I was made 2nd counselor of the STAKE YW presidency so now I have a lot more to do with girls camp and monthly activities and visiting all of the branches/wards in our stake), and two weeks after that Zack and I are going to be parents at Trek with the youth (we are SUPER excited!) We are also going to try to make a trip back home to UT for the 4th to spend some time w/ family, go to the cabin and visit friends again for a week or so. And then back to school for one more semester of our college careers! (YEAH) So happy its summer!

Updates for the past year

Well the new year has come and gone and it is basically March now. I am horrible at writing here but I feel like I have nothing to write about till we start having babies (not yet, but in the near future).
BUT anyways what has happened since last year is we had summer which consisted of me working at Maurices, and going to girls camp

, while Zack worked at the Country Club in Dakota Dunes and coaching a little league baseball team.

We swam at the pool any chance we got and just enjoyed the freedom while we can before school started again. We did make it home to Utah for the 4th of July and for my adorable nephew Camdens blessing day, which was so much fun I loved every minute I got with that adorable little man.
Its crazy to think he'll be a year old on March 12!
Anyways after the summer ended, Zack had to get back into football, which was his last year playing (I think I was more sad about that than he was, I miss him playing already!). He was definitely ready to be done. We had a pretty hectic class schedules, being in our upper level courses and I was working 2 jobs (Maurices and at the athletics department for the school). The last home game, we were lucky enough to have our families come visit! My parents came out and Zacks mom, sister Chloe and her husband Mike, and his brother Kaleb all came out to see him play one last time. It was so much fun having them all here and being able to celebrate Zacks conclusion to his 5 years in collegiate play.

Thankfully the semester ended and right before we left for Utah for Chads wedding on 12-12-12, we bought a new car!
And then we flew out on the 11th (we had to push our finals to the week before finals because the 11th was beginning of finals week) and were able to be at Chad and Kaylee's wedding on the 12th. It was so much fun being there and having all 8 of us in attendance in the temple. we are so grateful to be a member of the church and to have the knowledge that we are all sealed for time and all eternity together.
Then we had christmas which we were so spoiled and really enjoyed spending time with all our family and friends. after that, we flew to Arizona to meet up with Booke and Mike Neilson, and from there traveled to LA to go on a CRUISE!!!! We were on a Carnival ship called the splendor for a 7 day Mexico Rivera cruise line, to Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. It was an unforgettable trip.

We snorkeled, laid on the beach, zip lined, saw baby turtles hatch and go out to sea, bargained our way through flee markets, ate authentic mexican, mini golfed, and ate 10 lbs worth of food. We actually got an extra free day because when we were in Puerto Vallarta they had to fix something on the cruise ship which I didn't really complain about because that day happened to be my birthday! So on my birthday, I got cheap stuff at the flee markets, and laid on the beach. When we finally got back to South Dakota, it was 15 degrees. I really miss that 80 degree weather.
Now we are coming up to spring break, its midterms and Zack is trying to stay busy now that football is over and working at the country club about 3 days a week, while I am interning at the Sports Information Department at the university (same place I worked before just with an intern). We are both taking about 15 credits and plan to graduate next semester in December. Our tentative plans are to move back to Utah to be close to family but we'll see what happens.
